Budget Car Centre is a privately owned family business established at the current premises for over 26 years. Melvyn Jones, the proprietor, has been trading in the same area for over 45 years.

Melvyn’s daughter, Claire, looks after the administration side of the operation. Melvyn’s son , Neil, who has worked for his father for over 20 years, concentrates his considerable engineering skills on running the preparation and service departments.

Chris Girdler joined them in 2004 after many successful years in motortrade management. His responsibility is to maintain and improve the car sales, with the same emphasis on customer care and attention for which Budget Car Centre is already renowned.

They offer a varied selection of cars in the £2000 - £15000 price range. These all have to be good enough to maintain their hard won reputation for quality and if they are priced at £3000 or more, they are subjected to an independent RAC inspection.

Part exchanges are welcome and competitive finance can be arranged without hassle (subject to status). All vehicles are supplied complete with a comprehensive warranty. Prior to sale, the cars undergo a thorough pre-delivery inspection and are serviced as necessary. They have also been HPI checked and thoroughly valeted.
